2 tablespoons soft butter
1 egg ( beaten )
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup warm water
1 teaspoon salt
5 cups flour

Instructions

1.Boil the potatoes until soft and drain, reserving 1 cup of the potato water.

4.In a large bowl, combine the mashed potatoes, flour, soft butter, beaten egg, sugar, warm water, salt, and yeast mixture.

7.Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover it with a damp cloth.
8.Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
9.Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
10.Divide the dough into 20 pieces and form them into buns.
11.Place the buns on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
12.Let the buns rise for another 20 minutes.
13.Bake the buns for 20-25 minutes, until golden brown.
14.Serve the buns warm with butter or jam.
