Ingredients

1 prebaked italian bread pizza crust or 1 pizza dough
1 1/2 cups diced fresh tomatoes
1/2 cup thinly sliced basil
1/2 cup Italian salad dressing , divided
7 cups salad greens ( I use the bagged ready-to-use kind )
1 cup sliced pepperoni
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/2 cup sliced black olives
Originating in the Italian region of Tuscany, this Short-Cut Italian Bread Salad is a twist on the classic Panzanella salad. The dish was developed as a way to use up stale bread by soaking it in water before mixing it with fresh vegetables. Our version uses prebaked Italian bread pizza crust or pizza dough for convenience, and it is topped with tons of fresh ingredients such as tomatoes, basil, and black olives to create a flavorful and filling dish that you can enjoy as a meal or as a side. Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 375°F.
2.If using pizza dough, roll it out on a floured surface into a large circle.
3.Place the crust or the rolled dough on a baking sheet.
4.Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until crisp.
5.In a mixing bowl, combine diced tomatoes, basil, and 1/4 cup of Italian dressing.
6.Add the salad greens, sliced pepperoni, mozzarella cheese, grated parmesan cheese, sliced black olives, and remaining Italian dressing.
7.Mix everything well and top the baked crust with the salad mixture.
