Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Grease cookie sheet.
2.Mix 1 1/2 cups sugar, butter flavor shortening and butter together in a large bowl.
3.Add eggs and 2 teaspoons vanilla and mix well.
4.Stir flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt into the creamed mixture until dough forms.
5.Mix 4 teaspoons cinnamon and 3 teaspoons sugar together in a small bowl.

7.Place balls 2 inches apart onto prepared cookie sheets.
8.Bake for 8-10 minutes or until tops are cracked but not browned.
9.Transfer cookies onto wire rack to cool.
