Ingredients

olive oil
4 tuna steaks
sesame seeds ( I have n't listed quantity as it will vary for size of steaks , but enough to cover one side of tuna )
18 g paste miso
3 tablespoons mirin
3 tablespoons sake
2 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons rice vinegar
2 teaspoons Japanese soy sauce
1/4 teaspoon wasabi

Instructions

1.Heat a heavy-based frying pan over a high heat until very hot.

3.Cook the steaks for 1-2 minutes each side until they are golden brown on the outside but still pink in the middle.
4.To make the dipping sauce, mix together the miso paste, mirin, sake, sugar, rice vinegar, soy sauce and wasabi in a separate bowl until the sugar has dissolved.
