4 ounces golden raisins
4 ounces dark raisins
2 granny smith apples
2 teaspoons sweet wine
1/4 cup orange juice ( not concentrate )
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 cup blanched slivered almond

Instructions

1.Soak the golden and dark raisins overnight in enough water to cover them.
2.Peel, core and cut the granny smith apples into small chunks.
3.Add the soaked raisins with the water into a food processor and pulse until well blended.
4.Add the apple chunks, ginger powder, sweet wine, and orange juice to the food processor and pulse again until the mixture is well combined but slightly chunky.
5.Transfer the mixture into a bowl and stir in the blanched slivered almonds until well combined.
6.Cover and refrigerate until chilled before serving.
