2 cups water

Instructions

1.Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds and allow them to crackle.

4.Add vermicelli and mix well. Sauté for 2-3 minutes or until it turns golden brown in color.
5.Add water and salt to taste, mix well, cover and cook for 4-5 minutes or until the vermicelli is cooked well.
6.Once the vermicelli is cooked well, switch off the flame and let the Upma cool for 5-10 minutes.
7.Serve hot and garnish with coriander leaves (optional).
