1/4 - 1/2 tablespoon ground aniseed ( ground anise )
salt , to taste
1/3 - 1/2 cup ghee ( clarified butter )

Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 375°F. Spread the flour and sesame seeds in separate baking sheets and bake in the oven for about 10 minutes or until slightly golden, stirring occasionally.
2.Heat the canola oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and fry the sliced almonds, stir them occasionally until golden brown for about 7-8 minutes.
3.Using a food processor, blend the cooled flour and sesame seeds into a fine powder, add the fried almonds, powdered sugar, cinnamon, ground aniseed, and salt then pulse until well combined.
4.In a large skillet, melt the ghee over medium-high heat and cook the mixture for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, or until golden brown.
