Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
2.Sift the whole wheat flour and baking soda into a bowl, and set aside.
3.Cream the brown sugar and butter until light and fluffy, then add salt, eggs, vanilla extract and espresso powder
4.Melt chocolate over a double-boiler and mix it with the sugar-butter mix.
5.Add the flour mixture slowly to the chocolate mix until completely incorporated.
6.Lastly, fold in the macadamia nuts.
7.Drop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto a cookie sheet.
8.Bake for 10-12 minutes.
9.Cool on racks.
