1 cup brown sugar
2 cups slightly rounded all-purpose flour

Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).
2.Line a 9 inch (23cm) square baking pan with parchment paper.
3.In a large mixing bowl, cream together butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
4.Add flour and mix until just combined.
5.Press the dough into the prepared pan and prick it all over with a fork.
6.Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until lightly golden brown.
7.Remove from the oven and let cool completely in the pan before slicing.
