2 1/2 liters water
1 tablespoon salt
300 g smoked pork
200 g beef
150 g speck
5 garlic cloves
1/2 cabbage
1/2 stick celery
1 carrot
3 potatoes
2 1/2 tablespoons milk

Instructions

1.Rinse the barley and put it in a pot with the water and salt.
2.Bring to a boil and let simmer for 1.5 hours.
3.Cut the smoked pork, beef and speck into small cubes and put them into the soup. Press the garlic and add it to the soup.
4.Cut the cabbage, celery, carrot and potatoes into small cubes and add them to the soup.
5.Let the soup simmer for another hour.
6.Lastly, add the milk to the soup and bring it almost to the boil.
