1/2 cup salt , coarse ( kosher or sea )
2 tablespoons garlic powder
dried citrus zest ( orange , lemon or lime )
saffron
achiote powder

Instructions

1.Preheat your oven to 350°F.

3.Remove the baking sheet from the oven and allow the spices to cool.
4.Combine roasted cumin seeds and black peppercorns along with oregano, salt, garlic powder, dried citrus zest, saffron, and achiote powder in a blender jar. Process all the ingredients until the spices are well ground.
5.Store the spice mix in an airtight container.
