Ingredients

1 lb fish fillet , cut into large chunks
3 tablespoons butter
1 onion , chopped
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1/2 cup pine nuts
1 cup rice
1 teaspoon turmeric
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups water

Instructions

1.In a pot, melt the butter over medium heat and sautée the chopped onions until they are translucent.
2.Add cumin and half of the pine nuts. Stir for a minute.
3.Add the rice and mix well with butter and onion.
4.Add turmeric and salt. Mix well.
5.Pour water over the rice mixture.
6.On top of the rice mixture, place the chunks of fish.
7.Sprinkle the rest of the pine nuts on top of the fish.
8.Cover the pot and let it simmer for 20 minutes until the rice is cooked and the fish is done.
