Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 350°F.
2.Cut the top 1/4 of the French bread loaf off, scoop out the center of the bread and set aside.
3.In a skillet, brown pork sausage and ground chuck, add chopped onion and cook until tender. Drain fat.
4.Add 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese, the egg, parsley, Dijon mustard, fennel seed, salt, and pepper and mix until well combined.

11.Bake for 45 minutes.
12.Remove the foil and bake an additional 10 minutes or until the cheese is golden brown and bubbly.
