1 medium onion , finely chopped
1 cup breadcrumbs
salt and pepper ( to season )
1/2 cup milk or 1/2 cup cream
1 egg , beaten with 1 tablespoon water

Instructions

1.Preheat your oven to 390F (200C);
2.Line a baking tray with baking paper;

4.Divide the minced pork sausage into two halves as well, then shape into a long sausage to fit the length of the cut pastry;
5.Repeat the process for the other half. Put the pork sausages on the cut-out pastry, then sprinkle chopped onions on top;
6.Season with salt and pepper and put a handful of breadcrumbs on top of the onions;
7.Brush the edges of the pastry with egg wash and roll the pastry to wrap the pork sausage inside;
8.Repeat the process for the other half;
9.Slice the sausage rolls into bite-sized pieces and place them neatly onto the tray;
10.Brush the top with milk or cream and bake for 20-30 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown and crispy.
11.Serve and enjoy!
