Sausage Bourguignon is a hearty, warming dish that originated from the Burgundy region of France. Traditionally made with beef or lamb, this recipe swaps in sausages for a unique twist. The dish is a rich, complex combination of flavors, with the tanginess of the red wine and Dijon mustard complementing the savory sausages and smoky bacon. The garlic and mushrooms add depth to the sauce, while the thyme provides an herbaceous note. This dish is perfect for a cozy dinner or a comforting meal on a chilly day.
