Ingredients

8 ounces sausages
1 lb puff pastry
200 g applesauce
1 apple
1 onion
1 1/2 ounces cheese
1 1/2 ounces breadcrumbs

Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 200°C (180°C fan) and grease a muffin tin.
2.Roll out the pastry on a floured surface and cut out 6 circles to fit into the muffin tin.
3.Cut the sausages into small pieces and fry until browned.
4.Peel and finely chop the onion, then add to the sausage pan and fry until soft.
5.Add the apple and cook for a few more minutes until softened.
6.Divide the applesauce between the pastry cases.
7.Spoon the sausage mixture on top of the applesauce.
8.Mix the grated cheese and breadcrumbs together, then sprinkle over the top of each sausage Bakewell.
9.Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
