2 teaspoons salt
3 teaspoons cider vinegar

Instructions

1.Start by washing the cabbage and remove the outer leaves. Cut the cabbage into quarters and remove the core.

3.Place the cabbage in a jar or bottle, make sure to pack it down tightly.
4.Fill the jar with boiling water, cover the top with cheesecloth and a rubber band.

6.After 4-5 days, remove the cheesecloth and taste the kraut. If it tastes sour and tangy, it's ready to serve. If not, leave it in the jar for a few more days.
