Ingredients

48 wonton wrappers
1/2 cup red onion , finely chopped
1 lb lean ground lamb or 1 lb beef
1/2 teaspoon ginger , minced
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
1/2 teaspoon garlic , minced
1/2 teaspoon cayenne
salt
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
4 sprigs fresh coriander , chopped
3 sprigs mint , chopped
2 cups water

Instructions

1.In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground lamb or beef until browned. Drain any excess grease.

3.Stir in turmeric, cinnamon, cayenne, salt, coriander, and mint. Pour in 2 cups of water and bring to a boil. Let simmer for 20-25 minutes or until the water has evaporated.
4.Preheat oven to 375°F
5.Place wonton wrappers on a baking sheet and lightly spray with cooking spray.
6.Spoon 1-2 teaspoons of the meat mixture into each wrapper, and fold into a triangle. Seal the edges using a fork.
7.Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the sambossas are golden brown.
