1 cup caster sugar

2/3 cup plain flour

453 g better crocker chocolate frosting

500 g jersey caramels
1/3 cup thickened cream

Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 160 degrees Celsius and grease a 12-hole muffin tin.
2.In a saucepan, melt the chocolate and butter together over low heat. Once melted, remove from heat and add the hot water. Stir until the mixture is smooth.
3.In a separate bowl, mix together the caster sugar and vanilla extract. Stir in the chocolate mixture until well combined.

5.Divide the batter evenly among the muffin holes. Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes or until a skewer inserted into the center of one of the cakes comes out clean.
6.Meanwhile, mix together the chocolate frosting and caramel popcorn. Spread the mixture over the tops of the cooled cakes and sprinkle with chopped peanuts.
7.In a small saucepan, melt together the jersey caramels and cream over low heat. Drizzle the caramel sauce over the cakes.
8.Decorate with melted chocolate.
