1 green serrano chili
1 whole garlic clove
4 tomatoes
1/4 bunch cilantro
2 thinly sliced green onions
lime juice , as needed
salt , as needed

Instructions

1.Preheat broiler. Roast serrano pepper and garlic on baking sheet under broiler until they turn brown in places, about 4 minutes. Flip them and broil for another 4 minutes to cook the other side, set aside.
2.Roast the tomatoes on the same baking sheet in the same way until skins are blistered and blackened. Set aside.
3.In a blender or food processor, add roasted tomatoes, garlic, serrano pepper with seeds, cilantro and halved green onions (only white and light green parts).
4.Add fresh lime juice and salt, blend to get your desired consistency. More lime juice and salt can be added according to your taste.
