Ingredients

2 tablespoons butter , divided
1/4 cup plain dried bread crumbs
2 cups 2 % milk
8 ounces salmon fillets , skin removed
1/3 cup chopped onion
1/2 bunch Swiss chard , chopped

1/2 teaspoon dried marjoram
1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
2.Use 1 tablespoon of butter to coat a 9-inch (23-cm) deep-dish pie plate and sprinkle with bread crumbs.
3.In a large bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, salt, pepper, marjoram, and nutmeg.
4.In a medium skillet, melt the remaining tablespoon of butter over medium-high heat. Add the salmon and onion and sauté for about 3 minutes, until the salmon is lightly browned and the onion is tender. Add the Swiss chard and cook for another 2 minutes, until the chard is wilted.
5.Spread the salmon mixture evenly in the prepared pie plate. Pour the egg mixture over the salmon mixture.
6.Bake for 25-30 minutes, until the quiche is set and the top is golden brown. Let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
