1/2 stalk lemongrass , thinly sliced
1/2 teaspoon fish sauce
1/2 cup cooked shredded chicken breast
2 tablespoons fresh cilantro
1 tablespoon basil
1/2 cup mung bean sprouts
scallion , to garnish
sriracha sauce ( optional )
white pepper ( optional )
Saigon Chicken Noodle Soup, also known as Pho Ga, is a popular Vietnamese dish that is usually eaten for breakfast or lunch. Instructions

1.Cook rice noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

3.Add cooked shredded chicken breast, cilantro, and basil to the pot. Simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
4.Divide cooked noodles and mung bean sprouts among 2-4 serving bowls. Ladle chicken soup over the top.
5.Garnish with scallions and white pepper. Serve with sriracha sauce on the side, if desired.
