Ingredients

1 7/8 cups sago
2 cups sugar
125 g butter
1 cup milk
2 cups coconut milk
1 cup cornflour ( cornstarch )
1/2 cup custard powder
4 eggs

Instructions

1.In a large pot, cook sago in boiling water for 5-10 minutes or until they become translucent. Rinse under cold water and drain.
2.In a separate pot, heat sugar, butter, milk and coconut milk until sugar has dissolved and butter has melted. Remove from heat and set aside.
3.In a bowl, whisk together cornflour, custard powder and eggs. Add the egg mixture to the sugar mixture and stir until well combined.
4.Add the sago to the mixture and stir.
5.Pour the mixture into a large baking dish and bake in a preheated oven at 180C for 30-40 minutes or until golden brown.
