1 1/2 lbs lean ground beef
1 medium onion , Sliced
1 cup rice , Uncooked
2 1/2 cups water
2 teaspoons chicken bouillon , Instant
1 teaspoon curry powder
1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 cup raisins
3 tablespoons peanut butter , Chunky
1 tablespoon honey

Instructions

1.In a large pot, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned.
2.Add sliced onions, and sauté until they are soft and translucent.
3.Stir in uncooked rice, water, chicken bouillon, curry powder, ginger, cinnamon, salt, and raisins.
4.Cover the pot and bring it to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer until the rice is cooked and water is absorbed – about 20-25 minutes.
5.Remove the lid and stir in chunky peanut butter and honey. Taste and adjust the seasoning as necessary.
6.Remove from heat, let it cool for a few minutes, and then serve hot in bowls.
