Instructions

1.In a medium saucepan, combine the sugar, milk, and vanilla and heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally.

4.Continue to whisk for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the mixture is thick enough to coat the back of a spoon.
5.Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the coconut or cinnamon.
6.Pour the mixture into individual serving dishes and let cool to room temperature.
7.Once cooled, place in the refrigerator to chill for at least 2 hours, or until completely set.
8.Serve chilled, topped with roasted almonds.
