Ingredients

1 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup oat bran , uncooked
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1/4 raisins
2 tablespoons chopped walnuts
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
1/2 cup orange juice
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 teaspoon vegetable oil
salt

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 350°F.
2.In a bowl, mix flour, oat bran, baking powder, baking soda, salt, nutmeg, and cloves.
3.Stir in raisins and chopped walnuts. Set aside.
4.In another bowl, mix honey, applesauce, orange juice, and oil.
5.Gradually stir in dry ingredients.
6.Pour batter into a greased 9-inch cake pan.
7.Bake for 30-35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
8.Cool on wire rack.
9.Serve warm or cold.
