Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 350°F.
2.In a small saucepan, heat honey until it bubbles up and becomes frothy. Stir in cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg. Remove from heat and let cool.
3.In a large mixing bowl, beat egg whites until stiff. Set aside.
4.In another mixing bowl, mix together egg yolks, yogurt, raisins, dates, apricots, and walnuts.
5.Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt. Add the flour mixture and baking soda to the egg yolk mixture. Stir until just blended.
6.Fold 1/3 of egg whites into the batter, gently stirring until just blended. Fold in remaining egg whites.
7.Pour batter into a greased 1-quart loaf pan and bake for 45 to 50 minutes.
8.Let cool completely and serve sliced.
