Ingredients

4 cups whole wheat flour , sifted
1 tablespoon melted butter
1/2 cup warm milk
1/2 cup warm water
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
Roti is a traditional Nepali non-leavened whole wheat flatbread that is similar to the Indian Roti. This bread is simple to make and only requires a few basic ingredients. Instructions

1.Take a mixing bowl and add 4 cups of whole wheat flour. To this, add 1 tablespoon of melted butter.
2.Now, add 1 tablespoon of sugar and 1 teaspoon of salt. Mix well.
3.Add 1/2 cup of warm milk and 1/2 cup of warm water to the mixture. Knead until the dough becomes soft and pliable.
4.Leave the dough to rest for 15-20 minutes. Meanwhile, heat a griddle or tawa on medium heat.
5.Divide the dough into small round balls and roll them out into thin circular discs with a rolling pin.
6.Place the rolled-out discs on the hot griddle or tawa and cook until brown spots appear. Flip the Roti over and cook for another 30 seconds.
7.Remove the Roti from the griddle or tawa and smear with butter. Repeat the process with the rest of the dough balls.
