1 French bread ( long stick )
13 ounces mozzarella cheese
4 tomatoes
1/3 cup olive oil
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon dried oregano
salt and black pepper
fresh basil ( to garnish )

Instructions

1.Cut the French bread into slices around 1 inch thick. Cut the mozzarella cheese into small pieces and cut the tomatoes into halves.
2.Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
3.In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, lemon juice, oregano, salt, and black pepper to make the marinade.
4.Brush the marinade onto both sides of the bread slices, making sure they’re all coated.
5.Slide a piece of cheese and half a tomato onto each skewer, then slide the bread slices onto the skewer in between the cheese and tomato slices.
6.Grill the skewers for 4-5 minutes on each side or until the cheese is melted and the bread is crispy.
7.Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil leaves.
