Instructions

1.Grate the potatoes into a large bowl.
2.Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat and add the grated potatoes.
3.Sprinkle salt over the potatoes and toss well to coat with melted butter.
4.Stir occasionally until the potatoes are browned and tender, about 20 minutes.
5.Add milk and cook for another 5 minutes. Serve hot.
