2 whole sweet onions
2 tablespoons fresh grated cheese ( optional )
1 1 tablespoon melted butter or 1 tablespoon melted margarine
salt , to taste
fresh ground black pepper , to taste

Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
2.Peel the onions and cut off the ends.
3.Cut the onions in half from top to bottom.

6.Sprinkle with the grated cheese (optional).
7.Season with salt and pepper to taste.
