Ingredients

4 quinces
2 brown onions
1 tablespoon cumin
greek extra virgin olive oil
4 duck legs
1/3 cup dry white wine
1/2 garlic clove , crushed
1 tablespoon cumin seed
sea salt
2 cinnamon sticks
5 whole cloves
2 bay leaves
1 cup raw sugar
water
chinese broccoli or regular broccoli
1 lemon , juice of
This Roasted Duck With Quince and Syrup recipe is a scrumptious main course that is perfect for dinner tonight. The dish has juicy duck legs flavored with cinnamon, cloves, cumin seeds, and bay leaves, all cooked to perfection. Instructions

1.Preheat your oven to 180C. Cut quinces and onion into wedges. Place them in the bottom of the ovenproof dish, sprinkle with cumin and drizzle with 1 tbsp of olive oil, then roast for 25 minutes.
2.Rub the duck legs with crushed garlic, cumin seeds and salt. Place them on top of the quinces and onions, add cinnamon, cloves, bay leaves and pour the wine over it. Roast for 25 minutes.
3.Meanwhile, mix sugar and 1/2 cup of water until dissolved in a pot, then bring to a boil for 8-10 minutes until it turns into syrup. Add lemon juice and remove from the heat.
4.Once the duck is cooked, remove it from the oven, and leave it to rest on a plate for a few minutes. Blanch broccoli for 2 minutes in boiling water, then drain and serve along with the roasted duck and quince.
5.Drizzle the syrup on top of the duck and enjoy the delicious flavors!
