Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
2.Spread hazelnuts on a baking sheet and toast in preheated oven until fragrant, about 10 minutes. Remove from oven and coarsely chop.
3.Remove giblets from chicken and rinse chicken inside and out. Pat dry with paper towels.
4.Mix butter, 1 1/2 teaspoons salt, and 1/4 teaspoon pepper in a small bowl. Rub chicken all over with mixture.
