1 turkey

2 tablespoons dried rosemary
2 tablespoons dried sage
2 tablespoons dried thyme

Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 325°F.
2.Rinse the turkey with cold water and pat it dry with paper towels.
3.Season the turkey with salt and black pepper, rubbing them all over the bird.
4.Place the butter or margarine, dried rosemary, dried sage, and dried thyme in a small bowl.
5.Mix the ingredients until you obtain a smooth cream which you should spread all over the turkey, under the skin as well.
6.Place the turkey on a roasting rack in a large baking pan.
7.Stuff the onion mushroom dressing within the turkey and place it in the oven.
8.Bake for approximately 3 hours, or until the internal temperature at the thickest part of the thigh is 165°F.
9.Remove the turkey from the oven and let it rest for at least 15 minutes before carving it.
