Ingredients

1/3 cup butter
1 cup diced celery

1/3 cup easy flow flour
8 cups turkey broth

Roast turkey and bread stuffing is a quintessential Thanksgiving dinner dish that has been enjoyed for generations. Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 325°F.
2.In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add celery and onions, cooking until they are soft and beginning to brown.
3.Add salt, poultry seasoning, sage, thyme, marjoram and pepper, cooking for 1 more minute.
4.Add turkey broth, scraping up any brown bits from the bottom of the pan.
5.In a separate large bowl, toss bread cubes with the butter and onion mixture until coated.
6.Stuff the turkey cavity with the bread stuffing mixture, together with turkey giblets, neck and cut-up celery and onion. Truss the bird with kitchen twine.
7.Place the turkey on a rack in a large roasting pan. Brush the turkey with pan drippings and season with salt and pepper.
8.Roast the turkey for 3-4 hours, basting with pan drippings every 30 minutes, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
9.Remove turkey from oven and let rest for 20-30 minutes before carving.
