Ingredients

2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
5 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/2 lime , juice of
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground pepper
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup pilsner beer ( e.g . Corona )
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
2 teaspoons chili powder
flour tortilla
cornstarch
1 large red onion , sliced
1 medium red bell pepper , cut into 3/4-inch-wide strips
1 medium yellow bell peppers or 1 medium green bell pepper , cut into 3/4-inch-wide strips
8 ounces of chopped fresh mushrooms
sour cream
guacamole
shredded cheddar cheese
freshly made pico de gallo
shredded iceberg lettuce

Instructions

1.Cut the chicken breasts into thin strips.
2.In a small bowl, whisk together 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil, lime juice, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, Worcestershire sauce, beer, paprika, cayenne pepper, oregano, thyme, and chili powder.
3.Place the chicken strips in the marinade, cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
4.Preheat a large skillet to medium-high heat with 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil.
5.Add the chicken, stirring constantly and cook until browned and no longer pink.
6.Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.

8.Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and heat for an additional 2-3 minutes.
9.Warm flour tortillas in the microwave, fill each tortilla with fajita and top with the sour cream, guacamole, shredded cheddar cheese, pico de gallo and shredded iceberg lettuce.
