1 cup long-grain white rice , do not rinse ( medium or short grain will give you a creamier consistency )
1 cup sugar
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 large eggs
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

1.In a large heavy-bottomed saucepan, bring the milk to a boil over high heat.

6.Remove the pan from the heat and let the pudding cool to room temperature. Serve chilled or at room temperature, garnished with cinnamon.
