1 1/2 teaspoons dried marjoram
1 pinch dried rosemary ( optional )
1 pinch turmeric ( optional )
1 pinch salt & freshly ground black pepper
1/2 cup dried orzo pasta
1 cup long grain brown rice
2 3/4 cups water

Instructions

1.In a large pot, heat olive oil and sauté onions with marjoram, rosemary, turmeric, salt, and pepper.

3.Pour water into the pot, bring to boil and simmer, covered, for 20-25 minutes until the rice is cooked and the water is absorbed.
4.Leave the rice to rest for 5 minutes. Fluff with a fork before serving.
