2 cups boiled rice
4 cups water
3/4 cup Urad Dal
salt
3/4 cup butter
oil ( to deep fry )

Instructions

1.Soak the boiled rice overnight and grind it into a smooth paste without adding water.
2.Grind the Urad Dal into a fine powder and mix it with the rice paste.
3.Add salt to taste and mix well.
4.Melt the butter and add it to the rice and dal mixture.
5.Mix well and knead the dough for about 10-15 minutes.
6.Heat oil in a deep frying pan.
7.Using a murukku press, make murukku shapes onto the pan and fry them until crispy and golden brown.
