Ingredients

1 1/2 cups firmly packed brown sugar
2/3 cup vegetable oil
1 egg

1/2 cup pecans or 1/2 cup walnuts

Instructions

1.Preheat oven at 325°F.
2.Grease and flour the bottom of 2 bread pans.
3.In a large mixing bowl, mix together brown sugar, oil and egg.

5.Combine the buttermilk mixture with the brown sugar mixture.

9.Mix together the white sugar and melted butter and sprinkle over the batter.
