9 lasagna noodles
2 1/2 cups ricotta cheese

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 eggs , beaten
1/2 pound lean ground beef
2 1/2 teaspoons dried oregano

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
2 teaspoons white sugar
salt and pepper to taste
3 cans tomato sauce

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
2.In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook noodles according to package directions. Drain and rinse.
3.In a large mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, beaten eggs, and salt and pepper to taste.
4.In a large skillet, cook ground beef, oregano, basil, garlic powder, sugar, salt, and pepper over medium heat until browned. Stir in tomato sauce and simmer for 5 minutes.
5.In a 9x13 inch baking dish, spread a thin layer of the meat sauce. Arrange 3 cooked lasagna noodles on top. Spread a layer of the cheese mixture. Repeat with remaining ingredients, ending with a layer of meat sauce on top. Sprinkle remaining mozzarella cheese on top.
6.Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 25 minutes, or until golden brown.
