6 green onions , sliced , white parts and tops separated

1 shredded , cooked , whole chicken breast
salt and pepper to taste
1 cup salsa
1/2 package tortilla chips
1 package shredded Cheddar/Monterey Jack cheese blend
1/2 large tomato , diced

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 375 degrees F
2.In a large skillet over medium heat, sauté garlic and white parts of green onions in canola oil until fragrant
3.Add in shredded chicken and season with salt and pepper
4.Mix in salsa and diced tomato and cook until heated through
5.Spread out tortilla chips onto a large baking sheet
6.Spoon chicken mixture over the tortilla chips
7.Sprinkle cheese blend on top of the chicken mixture
8.Bake nachos in preheated oven until cheese is melted and bubbly, about 10 minutes
9.Remove from oven and sprinkle remaining sliced green onions on top of the nachos
