1 1/2 cups boiling water
3/4 cup red river cereal

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 375°F.

4.In a separate bowl, mix together flour, baking soda and salt.

6.Stir in the buttermilk, oats, raisins, and soaked cereal mixture. Mix well.
7.Add the flour mixture and stir until just combined.
8.Spoon batter into prepared muffin pan, filling each cup about 3/4 of the way full.
9.Bake for 18 to 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean. Cool for 5 minutes before removing from pan.
