1 1/2 cups raspberries ( Fresh or frozen may be used but they must be thawed and drained well )

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease an 8-inch (20 cm) square baking dish.
2.In a small mixing bowl, combine 1/3 cup all-purpose flour, 1/3 cup brown sugar, 1/4 cup softened butter, and 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon and mix until crumbly.
3.In another mixing bowl, cream 3/4 cup granulated sugar and 1/4 cup softened butter together until light and fluffy.
4.Beat in the egg and vanilla until well combined.
5.In a separate bowl, whisk together the 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour, 1 tablespoon baking powder, and 1/2 teaspoon salt.
6.Gradually add the flour mixture and milk alternately to the creamed mixture, stirring until just combined.
7.Fold the raspberries into the batter and then pour into the prepared baking dish.
8.Sprinkle the streusel topping over the batter.
9.Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
10.Allow the cake to cool slightly before serving.
