4 teaspoons raspberry jam

1 -2 tablespoon heavy cream

Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
2.Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
3.In a bowl, beat the cream cheese, marzipan, and confectioners' sugar until smooth and fluffy.
4.Beat in egg yolk, vanilla extract, and salt.
5.On a floured board, roll out the puff pastry to a 10-inch square.
6.Cut four 5-inch circles out of the puff pastry.
7.Transfer the circles to the prepared baking sheet.
8.In each circle, spread 1 teaspoon of raspberry jam in the center.
9.Spoon 3 tablespoons of the cream cheese mixture over the raspberry jam.
10.Sprinkle sliced almonds over the cream cheese mixture.
11.Use a sharp knife, cut each circle into 8 wedges, leaving the center uncut.
12.Mix the egg white and heavy cream and brush the edges of the pastry.
13.Bake for 25-30 minutes or until puffed and golden brown.
14.Serve warm.
