Ingredients

1/2 cup unsalted butter , melted and cooled ( divided )
3 large eggs
1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla bean paste or 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
3/4 cup cake flour
1/2 cup sugar ( divided )
salt , a pinch
1/4 cup sliced unblanched almonds

Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
2.Butter a 9-inch cast-iron skillet or other ovenproof baking dish, and scatter the raspberries over the bottom of the dish.
3.In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the creme fraiche, milk, 1/4 cup of the melted butter, eggs, vanilla, flour, 1/4 cup of the sugar, and the salt until smooth.
4.Pour the mixture into the prepared skillet, and then sprinkle the remaining sugar and the almonds over the top.
5.Drizzle with the remaining melted butter, and then bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the center is just set.
