9.Beat eggs with an electric mixer until thick and lemon-colored. Gradually add 1/3 cup sugar, beating well after each addition.
10.Gradually stir in milk. Continue to beat until well blended.
11.Slowly pour egg mixture over apples.
12.Bake in a preheated 400-degree oven for 50 minutes or until filling is set and pastry is golden.
