Ingredients

1 pomfret fish , cut into 5 or 6 large pieces
5 tomatoes , chopped
3/4 cup cilantro
5 -6 green chilies
1 1/2 tablespoons ginger , chopped
3 tablespoons oil
1 bay leaf
4 -5 green cardamoms
10 -15 cloves garlic
1 teaspoon red chili powder
7 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 1/2 teaspoons coriander powder
1 teaspoon kasuri methi , dry
water , as required for gravy
Sindhi Fish curry is a popular dish in the region of Sindh in Pakistan. It is a spicy and flavorful curry made with fish, tomatoes, and a blend of aromatic spices. Instructions

1.Heat oil in a pan and add chopped ginger, garlic, bay leaf, green cardamom and chopped green chilies. Fry until the mixture becomes aromatic.
2.Add chopped tomatoes and cilantro. Saute until the tomatoes are completely cooked.
3.Add all the spices to the mixture - red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and salt. Mix everything well.
4.Add water as required for making the gravy and let the mixture cook on a medium flame for a few minutes.
5.Add the fish pieces to the curry and cook until the fish is completely cooked.
6.Crush dried kasuri methi and add it to the curry. Mix everything well and turn off the gas.
7.Serve hot with rice or roti.
