7 ounces cherry tomatoes
1 tablespoon fresh basil , roughly chopped
1 garlic clove , thinly sliced
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 lb puff pastry
2 1/2 ounces salami
9 ounces mozzarella cheese
1 egg , beaten

Instructions

1.Preheat your oven to 200°C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2.Halve the cherry tomatoes and place them in a bowl. Add the sliced garlic and chopped basil.
3.Drizzle the olive oil over the cherry tomato mixture and stir to coat.
4.Cut the puff pastry into 8 equal pieces and roll each piece out into a circle.
5.Divide the cherry tomato mixture between the 8 circles of pastry, leaving room around the edges.
6.Top each pastry with a few slices of salami and some sliced mozzarella cheese.
7.Brush the egg wash around the edges of each pastry circle.
8.Carefully fold each pastry over the filling to create a half-moon shape.
9.Press the edges of each pastry together with your fingers or a fork to seal.
10.Brush the tops of each pastry with the remaining egg wash.
11.Bake the pasties for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed up.
