Ingredients

1 cup warm water
1 1/4 teaspoons salt
1 1/2 teaspoons agave nectar
2 1/2 tablespoons coconut oil
1/3 cup vegan sour cream or 1/3 cup soy yogurt
4 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons yeast
1 head roasted garlic ( I roast mine in the toaster oven for about 25 minutes , wrapped in oil-greased foil )
coconut oil , extra for brushing naan
Naan is a traditional Indian flatbread that is usually cooked in a tandoor (clay oven). This recipe provides a quick and easy way to make naan in a bread machine and then cook it on a grill. Instructions

1.Add the warm water, salt, agave nectar, coconut oil, vegan sour cream or soy yogurt, all-purpose flour, and yeast to the bread machine.
2.Set the bread machine to dough cycle, and let it run until the dough is soft and elastic, about 1 hour.
3.Preheat the grill to high heat.
4.Divide the dough into 12 equal portions.
5.Roll each portion of dough into a long oval shape, about 1/4 inch thick.
6.Brush each naan with extra coconut oil and sprinkle with roasted garlic.
7.Place the naan on the hot grill, oil side down, and cook until the bottom is browned and crisp, about 2 minutes.
8.Flip the naan and cook the other side for another minute.
9.Remove from the grill and serve warm.
